Miller joins a returning Milla Jovovich as the zombie-fighting heroine, as well as Ali Later and Spencer Locke, both of whom reprise their roles from “Resident Evil: Extinction.”
Also returning is Paul W. S. Anderson, who hops into the chair as writer, director and producer. Anderson wrote, directed and produced the first “Evil” in 2002, but acted as writer and producer for the two sequels.
Miller, the ICM-repped actor who starred in “Prison Break,” will play Larter’s brother, a fighter pilot. The character appeared in the video games on which the movies are based.
Boris Kodjoe and Kim Coates have also been cast. Shawn Roberts takes over the role as the villain from Jason O’Mara.
The story sees Jovovich’s character bringing the battle to the Umbrella Corporation, the evil company creating zombies and the bane of her existence.
Anderson’s producing partner Jeremy Bolt, Constantin’s Bernd Eichinger, and Robert Kulzer, and Samuel Hadida also produce. Don Carmody is also producing.
Martin Moszkowicz and Victor Hadida are again executive producing.

Honestly, I like these movies. They aren't really Resident Evil movies, but for some reason they're really fun....
