Oh thank god!

I think all we'll see is Seth Rogen's Fat ass taking up most of the screen anyway.

This movie will be a laugh no matter what,...just watching some fat ass curly haired guy playing 6'4" dark haired and handsome Britt Reid, will be a laugh in itself.

Not too late Seth, drop out, direct it and get the right guy to be the Green Hornet....you fat ass.

what ever happened to the GEORGE CLOONEY/JET LI package? Seth Rogen as the Green Hornet? if the Green Hornet has any laughing parts, this movie is just doomed.

maybe PHILLIP SYMOURE HOFFMAN can join Green Hornet!

Nic Cage plays Nic Cage. You get what you get. That said, The Rock was the last Cage movie I actually enjoyed.
But, the idea of Seth Rogan playing the Green Hornet makes this conceptually unwatchable. My first thought when I heard was that they must be making this a comedy, then I remembered, wait a minute, the guy isn't funny either. I would rather watch a Nic Cage movie any day - even Ghost Rider or Face Off - than anything with Seth Rogan in it. That casting a death knell to this movie and is so off I cannot even fathom how anyone would even consider that a rational decision.

I think Seth would have done a great job, and Nick Cage is one of the Best actors ever.

Ahh, Mr. Cage. I'm glad he won't be in it. I don't think I can stand anymore of his trying-to-act-confused-and-tormented, arched eyebrow looks.

We should respect nick’s decision. For me, he’s a great man.

I'm guessing he's referring to the fact that Ghost Rider (the movie) was a freaking joke, and that Cage played the character with LESS substance than a cardboard cutout, not directly comparing the roles.

Awww that would have been amazing, Nick Cage is hilarious. The movie will probably bomb anyway, may as well go out with a bang with some over the top acting. Ahh well.

I'm sure they can find someone better.

Your girl Mary :)

Hi Guy's,
Any movie he is in is instantly doomed by his insipid, atrocious characters, which are apparently his own personality, because the man absolutely cannot act. Thank God this movie has a chance now that he will not be there to ruin it.

That sucks, I love Nicolas Cage.

Your girl Mary :)

I like Nicolas Cage he is such a great actor.

I thought that Nicholas Cage pass on "Green Hornet" because of his lack of acting skill.NICOLAS CAGE has revealed he dropped out of Columbia Pictures' superhero adventure The Green Hornet because of creative differences.Cage had been due to play a villain called Chudnofsky, a role now filled by Inglourious Basterds star Christoph Waltz.

Maybe he thought this movie didn't suck enough.Or maybe they suggested maybe he could try acting without relying on a hammy nervous tick.I said previously, they were his last few films and they tanked big time. #9 is living way in the past, as of this moment, Rogen's career as a leading man is in serious jeopardy and thats a fact, I only like him when hes supporting, like he did in the 40 Year Old Virgin, which was terrific. If Funny People couldn't draw in the big bucks with Sandler, Rogen and Apatow, they should all be worried.

You know, a lot of people are whining and complaining about Rogen as Green Hornet, but come on! People got just as bent out of shape back in the day when Michael Keaton was cast as Batman, and he did a pretty good job. And face it, there is no such thing as a Green Hornet fan below the age of at least 25 years old nowadays because moviegoers today have no frame of reference to what a Green Hornet movie should be. The only thing I know about it is what I've read from Wikipedia and what Kevin Smith has said about it. Sure, I've seen clips from the old TV show, but that's just it: Clips. As far as today's moviegoer is concerned, it's just some new superhero. The number of informed fans are magnificently overshadowed by the uninformed prospective fans.
